The water is still too dirty and choppy for diving, but that didn't stop several divers from trying. About a half dozen beach divers entered the sloppy mess at Marineland. Two reported visibility of 10-15 feet, but from the looks of the surface I highly doubt that. I've come out of the water and had a diver report 15-25 feet vis when I saw them underwater and it was less than eight feet. The Body Glove boat, Disappearance was bobbing back and forth on the 120 reef. It's always strange to see such a large vessel diving such a boring spot when Long Point is only 1/4 mile away.

Two guys in a large private boat jumped into their inflatable and bravely motored in to the cave.

A very sick sea lion had climbed up the rocks between the cove and cave yesterday, Brian from P.V. Beach, Bike and Kayak told us he called the Marine Mammal Care Center yesterday but they didn't come out. Evil Jeff Shaw called them again. Hopefully they came out today, but there doesn't look as if they can do much. The sea lion was badly dehydrated and likely had organs already shutting down.
