I had an opportunity to use a Kodak digital SLR of that vintage
above water. It was based on the Nikon N8080, IIRC, and the
sensor was abysmal. It had maybe two stops of dynamic range, and
it was SVGA resolution (1024x768 or .7 megapixels).

I scurried straight back to film.
