Although the wind chop was fairly stiff yesterday afternoon, we motored to the point to visit Phil's favorite dive site. Kelp was lying down somewhat, but there was no bottom current. Vis was 12 - 15' with intermittent patches of particulates.

There were nudibranch egg masses everywhere, but we only saw one mating pair of Acanthodoris hudsoni (Hudson's Horned Dorid).

This is the largest Mexichromis porterae (Porter's Chromodorid) we've ever seen.

Brilliant blue against the Corynactis, it put on a small nudibranch show, rearing up and chomping-down on a bryozoan.

This Cadlina luteomarginata (Yellow-edged Cadlina) was also large.
We almost as many of these as Hermissenda.

C. luteomarginata

There were many small Triopha catalinae (Clown Dorid).

This gelatinous blob was apparently caught in a tube anemone (Pachycerianthus fimbriatus), but we have no idea what it is.
