Inflating the bag is intuitive. Think sex.

The tricky part is not turning yourself into an aquatic bottle rocket in the process.

Once you have the reel or spool attached-I prefer a spool since they can't jam-hold the whole assembly away from and above your body. This will help prevent the SMB or line getting caught on your rig as it takes off. Keep some tension on the line, again so it doesn't snag on something important. I hold the SMB valve and inflator in one hand and spool on the other. The No Lock valve will release with air pressure as soon as you let go. Use the drysuit LP inflator, not the wing inflator.

Try it on land first.
