When we were kids we used to dive this spot a lot.(late 60's and early 70's) If we kept swimming out perpendicularly to the rows of pilings into 60 or so feet of water we would find old bottles, plates and fishing gear, and one time we found a mound of bricks and encrusted machinery presumably from a building that was once out on the pier. We usually had better luck after a winter storm.
