At the bottom of that is our lander. It's acoustic system tells us it survived the descent and landed smoothly. It is awaiting the arrival of Jim Cameron and his submarine. A decision on whether to launch the manned submarine is expected shortly. Weather is marginal for the submarine op. But possible. History may be made soon. Been to sea a lot, but this one's pretty top drawer. << Check out Nat Geo article >>
