Sometimes vintage is better.

Up to last year, my wife was diving with her Dacor reg - excellent gear and used effortlessly to 130 FSW (our limit).

A UICC 17 diver I dive with still uses 72's and J valves.

I wouldn't trade my ScubaPro Jet fins for any of the new split designs - just not enough power of heft for beach diving... and my horse collar can't be beat for surface swims. Backpacks remove all that junk from the front of new BC designs.

Then there's us.... like I wrote, vintage is best...
