At a certain spot that will remain nameless, I have noticed a large amount of females in the 4-5lb range but not bigger. There are certainly more than the large males there. This is a good idea unless it is true what I have heard about the vast majority of mating taking place in Mexico. I see large numbers of egg laden females in local waters, and would like to know how much of the new spawn happens here.
