Mz Linda and I joined Cpt Peter on the Mary Q to check out a couple of new spots, last Sunday. The White Point outfall pipe, Honeymoon Cove, and an old stand by Hawthorne Reef. Conditions were glassy. It looked like you could walk to Catalina. Vis was good, and the water warm. Highlights on the surface; grey whale, dolphins, sea lions. Highlights under water: Lots of nudibranchs, lots of macro subjects, some new to me, and a bat ray swimming through the kelp towards me.
