Morro Bay Eelgrass Recovery Program (Aug. 9 - 14):

Work alongside eelgrass restoration specialists and Estuary Program staff on this unique volunteer opportunity. Help is needed both on-land and in the water by certified SCUBA divers. On-land Table Crews will prepare bundles of eelgrass. Divers help harvest eelgrass and plant the prepared bundles at strategic locations in Morro Bay. Volunteer shifts vary between 1.5 hours to 2 hours or longer as desired.
