This is the time of year when the green water of summer disappears and we have a few months of nice conditions. I took three weeks vacation so we could make a trip to Vancouver Island and then spend a couple weeks enjoying our own backyard. I've made three dives since returning and have not found much to write home about.

The visibility was OK last weekend until our second dive, when it dropped to about five feet. Today was slightly better but still difficult to get any decent photos. I have four days left before I have to return to work. If conditions don't improve soon I'll have to ask my boss for more time off. That should go over well.
