I dunno Ken, your pics are gorgeous. I guess they don't reflect the conditions.
I went there 20 years ago and thought it was loaded with fish. Groupers were everywhere and I have the pics to prove it.
I think you forgot to mention all the huge red barrel sponges. At least I hope they are still there.
Ya know, the shore diving near Ambergris Key is excellent... was anyway.
I saw so much. I was lucky to be diving with a local who took me into the backside of the Lighthouse reef.
Yah, the Blue Hole is mostly a waste of time.
So... what does lionfish taste like then?
Nice report. No matter the conditions, I bet you considered it a good trip.
