We in the SIO Pelagic Invertebrates Collection would like to express our thanks and appreciation to you for your contributions of illustrations to the
Zooplankton of the San Diego Region website (see: https://scripps.ucsd.edu/zooplanktonguide/ ). We were finally able to make this site public not long ago. It is a pictorial guide to a few (N=131 species) of the more common types of zooplankton found in our coastal waters. It is intended for the general public, not as a primary scientific resource.

We made every effort to give attribution to illustrations because we appreciate the effort and ingenuity required to take good photos or make high quality drawings. If you find errors or important omissions, or would like to forward additional illustrations, please let us know. Your contributions improved the website, which is an evolving work-in-progress.

With our best regards for the Holidays,

Mark Ohman and Linsey Sala (and previously, Annie Townsend)
