Is the Norton steel 72 a 6.9 inch boot? I have 2 or 3 Nortons, a Walter Kidde (yard sale-2 dollars), and a few really old US Divers(Pico Rivera)72's- ....Trying to find a few boots for them. Any suggestions on how the get the tapered threads valve off. Might need a goliath helper. I remember it last time. Big Damn Wrench. Pipe thread tape. Crank it down as hard as you can. Dove Morro Bay a few days ago. Maybe 5-10 foot vis. but really long and fun to dive. Better than nothing. Thanks, B. Xavier
