You suckered me in with your report of last week. Went out to collect marine organisms for a biotech company and started in 3 foot vis, then dropped to 18 inches and on my last dive, it was less than a foot - pitch black. I aborted. There was a cloud of large particles that came in with the incoming tide that make it like swimming in as ash storm from a volcano. My 1000 lumen light was helpless against it.
