I've dove the Bunkers a few times. I've heard about them back in the late 70's from Otto Gasser. They used to have a float at each end. Floats with a similar signage on them, and they seemed to be maintained. We weren't sure if the word "Danger" meant, in anchoring, or diving. It didn't say "Keep Away". I once asked Patrick Smith about these. He told me that it was a grounding station for a power plant in the valley. That seems like a long way to go, and I've never seen any cables. This site is not shown as a F&W artificial reef. The top chambers do make a great fish habitat. But, the large concrete box below is puzzling.
