Merry and I tried to get out early this morning but the wind kept at home. An hour or so later, the wind subsided enough to attempt diving. We motored around the peninsula slowly as the swells pounded us.

At Biodome. the water was green and swells were coming in fast and furiously. We decided to try for some protection at Garden Spot near Abalone Cove. It was calmer but the surface looked only slightly better than Biodome. I expected to abort the dive but at twenty feet, the visibility began to improve. We had nearly twenty feet vis on the reef, which is a pretty good day at Garden Spot.

I drifted slowly as the current moved me along the edge of the reef. I photographed only what was right in front of my face. I was fortunate enough to see a few nice subjects.

We'll sit out for a few days while I make some minor repairs and wait for the ocean to flatten a bit.
