Captain Andy once again took pity on Merry and me. We checked out some sites that none of us had dived before, including a series of concrete pipe sections lost or abandoned during construction of the outfall pipes. The tubes were covered with sponges, scallops, and anemones. Sand bass swirled around one section. Merry was a bit excited to find a gray moon sponge covered with Podocerus cristatus. Andy named the site Merry's Three Pipe Delight.
