Though I've done a lot of rock entries I think they were rarely steep like that.
The first time I dove at PV was at night and I do recall some excitement with the rocks.
I did consider myself lucky to not get a broken arm. Entering Malibu was rocky like that.
It could be a challenge at night at Latigo Point.
Funny memory from my first dive at Monestary. Weird dive for a few reasons including
that we bailed out over the south rocks but when standing above the center of the
cove a young lady decided to play feminine as she exited during a lull. She
obviously had no idea what the risk of that was there. My buddy and I very unceremoniously
lifted her by her valve, dragged her up the beach and deposited her. She was probably
cute but under the circumstances she didn't even get a smile from us.
