We crashed through $55,000!!! Simply amazing. (And it’s not quite April yet.)

A good part of our jump comes from the continued generosity of Mike Emmerman, Pat Stockhausen, and their son TJ. Mike is a well-respected nationally-known safety expert and certainly knows the importance of making sure that a facility like our Chamber is available to divers 24/7/365. Mike/Pat/TJ have been donating at this level for a number of years now and we certainly appreciate having them back on board in 2021.

At the $500 Silver level, we see the value of both “In memory” donations and matching grants. Kim Lancaster is making her donation in memory of the trio of Tom Binkley, Kevin Binkley (Tim’s son), and Tim Burke. Likewise at that level, Mark Stabb is making a donation to honor the memory of immunologist Jared F. Purton. Angi & Ron Burkard illustrate the value of matching grants as Phillips 66/76 (Angi’s employer) will match their $500 with another $500.

Plus we’ve got a slew of Bronze donations even including ones from non-divers (like my cousin Ellen Berman).

The point of all of this is that no matter what amount you donate, whether you have a matching grant opportunity or not, and even if you don’t dive, your donations make a difference. And if we keep on this trajectory, you could be instrumental in helping us make this a record-setting year for the Chamber Challenge.
