There are lots of good shops in SD. Ocean Enterprises is probably the premier shop
but you should shop around for the price and program that will work best for you. In
most cases, you get out of it what you put into it. I'd suggest getting certified
in SD for two reasons. You will get a much better course there than at a resort.
Also, if you are at a good resort such as Hawaii or Cozumel, why spend time
in a class when you can be diving?
Careful about taking up diving... It can change your life.
