Posted by Mark on October 13, 2023 at 04:56:13: The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) will open the recreational lobster fishery in the delay area off Los Angeles County on Friday, Oct 13 at 6 p.m. This follows a recommendation from state health agencies that the consumption of lobster in the area no longer poses a significant threat for domoic acid exposure. In addition, the health advisory for lobster has been lifted for neighboring areas. Recreational lobster fishing will be open without advisories in all portions of the state regularly open to divers and hoop netters.
