That's a good possibility. I used to wear a Farmer John plus a hooded vest with a wetsuit in SoCal, but I'm a wuss when it comes to cold water. :-) When I began diving dry I used about seven pounds less than I did with a wetsuit. That was in a trilam DUI drysuit. Now I have a crushed 2mm drysuit and haven't had to change my weight.
