Looking in L.A. for reputable dive shop that has affordable lessons...

I understand that "you get what you pay for" and that this is an expensive sport/hobby, however, I am on a somewhat limited budget and want to make sure I get the most "bang for my buck." Having said that, does anyone have recommendations for SCUBA lessons in the LA area?
