Hi Mike, the plan for this class is to open up tri-mix (Helitrox) to the rec. community (depth range being from 60 to 130). I hope to have a class that a rec. diver could take (with very few hoops to jump through). We have always known that there is allot of narcosis and decompression sickness problems in the 60 to 130 depth range. With a rec. tri-mix or Helitrox you can eliminate the narcosis and (with deep stops and a slower ascent) have allot less N2 at the end of a dive.The problem has been getting this type of program to the rec. community,but the times are changing, and I think that after the June workshop we will have some instructors that can teach a rec. Helitox class.
