My recommendation is to use the over the counter stuff such as TripTone, etc. (Be aware that they can add to your narcosis at depth).

I usually take one at bedtime the night before and again the morning of the trip. This completely eliminates any tendancy for me and my friends. I have been sitting eating and reading in the galley of boats in rough seas with no ill effects when I do this. If I do not do the night before, I have trouble staying inside the galley for briefings or filling out paperwork in all but the smoothest seas.

If you can, remain on deck and watch the sea. It will help.

Oh yea also remember the usual stuff like no greasy food. And if you have to feed the fish, make sure to do it to leeward, not windward.
