I used to own a Mk10/G250, really liked it but sold it to my brother when I went to work for a shop that did not sell Scuba Pro (owner told me not to wear anything he didn't sell).
If I remember correctly, there is no S/N on the first stage. The S/N should be on the second stage, underneath the mouthpiece, where the mouthpiece is attached by a cable tie to the housing of the second stage. You may be able to see the numbers by peeling up the edges of the mouthpiece.
