thanks, i've noticed quite a few scooters of several makes and models lately, and was wondering about all that. One can spot certain patterns on ebay WRT all that used equipment. Some things show up quite often and attract low bids (like JBL mini-carbines) and others show up somewhat rarely and have ferrocious bidding (like halcyon rigs). I get a little suspicious of a product when it shows up with some regularity (seen several Tekna DV3X but no Gavins...tells me sumpthin')
one of these days perhaps, just for local use in relatively shallow water, it would be fun to have a scooter....maybe for circling Farnsworth or flying thru the kelp...something of that sort.
