My sources tell me that this is indeed the diver who was lost in April 2000 off the Pacific Dream while diving the Eureka oil rig (southern-most of the four off of Huntington Beach). My information was exactly what Kym had posted (the biody was found at the base of the Eureka rig), plus I understand that the equipment will be tested. But bear in mind that equipment failure is rarely implicated as the cause of these types of accidents.
