If you really are "nicer" how about being smarter, too. If you're going to sling crap, why don't you back it up with some facts? You say their training methods are dangerous. Which ones? What's your source? Dangerous to whom? While we're talking about danger, isn't there some inherent danger in run of the mill OW training? Doesn't the student accept some risk, and trust the instructor to guide them through, so that they can learn the sport? Isn't "technical training" the same, but with a slightly higher risk involved? Isn't that acceptable to the student, so they may learn "technical diving", if that's what they want? Which GUE course did you take? Who was the instructor? Did you pass or fail? Let's hear some facts.

Tell us why you really believe that GUE/DIR is a marketing program for Halcyon. Oh, and come up with something other than the tired old argument of the "Doing It Right" slogan from "GUE" is plastered all over the Halcyon gear. Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

Yawn, I'm bored now.
