I agree with MHK.
The time to discover how you react to narcosis is not by yourself.
Wait until you a with your instructor and make sure the instructor you choose has experience BOTH diving and teaching extended range diving.
Also if you are considering a "deep air" class, IMO you may want to rethink your plan and consider a course of instruction that takes you through Nitrox, advanced nitrox, decompression procedures and then trimix for deep diving.
IMO using the right mix for the planned depth is extremely important to dive safety and, again IMO deep air is NOT the right mix.
