It will stay alive in your refrigerator for about 24 hours if you get it there quickly. Break off an antanea and stick it up its ass, turn it and pull to remove the intestinal tract. Then toss it live in a big pot of boiling water for 7-13 mins depending on size. Pull it out carefully using gloves of some sort, place it on your cutting board and cut it down the middle lenghtwise. Rinse out all the goo and remove any of the intestinal tract not removed in the reaming above. Now, inspect the meat to insure it is thoroughly cooked. If you see any meat that is almost clear, not white I would broil it for a minute or so to get that meat cooked. It's a good idea to coat it with butter before you broil it. Now eat it. If no one wants it now but will in the next few days let it cool to room temp and pull out all the nice meat and wrap it in celophane and put it in the fridge. Good luck
