That comparison isn't really a good one is it? Getting a professional level certification and learning how to sell that program is a lot different context than what Chris is accusing Mike of here.

I think Chris is wrong btw and that people can differentiate between an educational seminar and a marketing program. I've heard Mikes lectures. I liked some of it but didn't feel compelled(or pressured) to take it as gospel regarding technique. Nor did I rush out to buy scads of new equipment as a result. The fact of the matter is that Mike clearly has something of value, in terms of practical diving skills, to offer wether he might be representing a company or not. I think that's the way most intelligent people take it. I'll leave it up to you to decide who they are.
