Just check the DFG recommended consumption of fish from the areas. Fish and inverts don't seem to suffer the reproductive effects that other animals have from DDT, as far as I know. What we do know is that filter feeders (barnacles, mussels, scallops, etc) concentrate toxins, and the animals that feed on filter feeders (lobsters, sheephead, batrays, and more) further concentrate the toxins. If you're going to eat fish from these areas, avoid the filtering organs (i.e. lobster liver) and reproductive organs (fish roe, etc.) Migratory fishes tend to be less affected than residents.
