It's Pyle, not Pile. He's a fish nerd with the
Bishop Museum in Hawaii. He noticed he got really
tired (probably subclinical DCS, calling it "bent"
would not match common terminology) when he didn't
get fish. And he can tell you about "BENT"
(capitals and boldface) as he had a real serious
bend.

Every diver should read both of these. Deep stops
and SLOOOOOOW ascents are good.
