They can get about 75lbs but rarely will you get them over 50. 10 to 30 lbs in typical. Terrian sand. They start moving into the shallow waters in the spring. You get them at the surf line out to about 100. So take that spear and start scanning the bottom and start banging some butts.
Opps I mean hooking, slaying, landing, sinking a gaff into, pulling over the rail, deck bouncing, or even catching some butts.
