"I plan general paramater's, I AVOID sawtooth profiles and bouncing up and down like a damn yo-yo, and I have a great understanding of NDL limit's. I am therefore in a position that if I find myself at 100' for 25 minutes ( for example) I'll start a slow, controlled ascent complete with built in deep stops, ..."

OK, sounds like a plan to me and also seems feasible after some training.

You also mentioned you would avoid sawtooth profiles. And that is the point where your (planned or semi-planned) and seahunt's (arbitrary) dive profiles differ. Therefore, would it not make sense to carry a computer and have it do the work you want to avoid if the diving ahead is anaticipated to be un-plannable and "bouncing up and down like a damn yo-yo" can not be avoided?
