One thing is true though, beginer divers know as much today on day one as they did then. On average, most are just clueless.
You wrote the above and I agree, but my blame isn't on the students.. I don't blame someone for not understanding what they paid to learn, but were not shown...
I'm trying to focus on the instruction, the agencies and the shops that are supporting this insanity and not shift the responsibility to the newbies...
The focus needs to be on the instructors, agencies and shops, NOT the students...
