Yeah, I'm in the process of standardizing my "stuff" for any and all diving situations. But if I chose to dive with a buddy, the chance of him/her having their stuff identically configured to mine or mine to theirs is almost zero. I personally would elect to dive with a buddy ONLY if I required assistance in legally removing and recovering a particular wreck artifact. That's a procedure and "mindset" in almost direct contradiction to DIR but
fundamental to CWD diving. I caution you to oppose it gently ;-)
