In order:

mix - something other than air, usually containing Helium.

165 ft on air - believed by many people to be a dangerously narcotic depth for the use of air.

deep air - anything below recreational limits (either 130' or 100' depending on who you talk to) breathing air or nitrox. Not seen as a smart activity.

MHK + Chris + Seahunt = constant antagonism and occasionally amusing exchanges.

TDI - techdiving agency. Felt by some techdivers to have lax and dangerous training standards.

IANTD - another techdiving agency. See comments on TDI.

Padi RecTec - a brand new techdiving agency. Given Padi's approach to it's recreational training, most techdivers feel that the TDI comments will apply to it too.

Spend enough time on the internet and all the terminology will become comprehensible. It probably still won't be relevant to the diving you do, but at least you'll be able to follow the arguments ;-).

A flyer for RecTech in the AOW coursebook. That's a new low for sure.
