Thank you to everyone who responded. Obviously I got a wide variety of responses and some look like people who don't like each other very much. Some that even thought that I might be dumb or trying to act like a tough guy or some kind of tech (sp?)diver (which I don't know what that is) but I had to swallow my pride to ask. Mr Chris seems like an experienced person who has gone to 165 and that's like outter space to me and maybe I can reach that but from the posts it seems like I should work up to it take a deep air course and some other courses with x's at the end. I want me and my girlfriend to be safe and what a MHK person said seemed like sound advice if I had not read the fisticuffs preceeding it with aperson named seahunt . Sorry if I am new and don't know everyone yet but sometimes when you are new you make a mistake, I just don't want to kill us in the process so I am researching. Someone at work told me of TDI and IANTB are these better than padi and in my padi workbook it has a flyer for rec tec is this the same as tech? those people sure were wearing a lot of gear..somehow doesn't look to fun to me.
