It already costs to dive Pt. Lobos, which is a no-take zone. A
dive reservation is $10 per team (essential on weekends, generally
not necessary on the weekends). and $8 (or $125 annual pass) to
get a vehicle in the gate. Tourists pay the same $8.

It's worth every penny. The fish are bigger and more numerous.
It's the only place to reliably see sheephead up here.
