Last time I dove there a boat from Monterrey pulled into whalers cove for dives (looked like a couple of classes). Do the fees apply to the boats?

I'd agree that the price to dive Point Lobos is reasonable and fair (though it would be nice if they'd install a warm shower for us wetsuit die hards). We're thinking about a dive there during a coastal trip next summer. The sea life there is fantastic - huge sunstars, metridians, healthy kelp, huge sheepshead (ergo the healthy kelp), large calico, sea otters...its a wonderland! The 'surf' entry at whaler's cove is the easiest in the world ... a boat ramp!
