Thanks, Bob. I picked up the surgical tubing today on the advise of a diver who e-mailed me simular instructions.

As far as hose length I was leaning more toward the 5' length for now. Don't think I really trust myself to start screwing around with hoses, yet.

I'm not really sure of what you are recommending. Right now I have my R-190 as an octo. That hose is longer than my primary G250's and both feed over my right shoulder as standard. Do I go ahead and hang the Oct around my neck at this point, with hose run under my left arm? After all it will be the unit most likely to be donated to an OOA diver.

The DIR configuration seems to be an all or nothing proposition to me.

I suppose I will have to make the next DIR demo to see how this all works, and what will be best for me.
